    Unique architecture of Vuong palace

    Nearly a century ago, on Dong Van Plateau (Ha Giang), the leader of the Hmong, Vuong Chinh Duc, built a mansion to stay, work and fight. It is Vuong Palace (Vua Meo). Let’s us discover this place through the following photo gallery.

    The Vuong Palace is an interesting stopover when visiting the plateau. The area is 1120 m2 built in Sa Phin valley (Dong Van, Ha Giang). The two sides of the path to the palace are two rows of green cunninghamia trees.

    The mansion surrounded by two rings of stone walls with the height of 3 meters and loopholes.

    These walls consist of stones stacked in a circle around the premises. The stone walls are characteristic of the Hmong culture in Ha Giang.

    The entrance leading into the Vuong palace include 15 stone steps including large square stones with a lot of kinds of patterns.

    The gate is curved with bat wings- the symbol for the word "happy". Its porticoes are wood and finely carved with many types of patterns. After nearly 100 years, the details have not been decaying.
