    Cold weather in Northern Vietnam continues until 7 February

    Continuous cold air has been continually reinforced, causing the North to experience the coldest and most cold weather in the last two years, with the lowest temperatures being below 10 degrees Celsius and the high mountains below 0 degrees Celsius.



    An ongoing cold wave from the northern part of Viet Nam is expected to intensify across the Northern Vietnam region from today (5th Feb)

    In Hanoi, the lowest temperature is 8-11 degrees. Some highlands, temperatures will be below 3 degrees and areas above 1,500 meters will below 0 degrees Celsius. In Sapa, the forecast can be cold from -2 to 0 degrees frost and it cans has snow in Sa Pa, a popular resort town, have been amazing tourists.

    The northern part of the East Sea, including the Hoang Sa (Paracel) Archipelago, is also experiencing strong winds of level 6 - 7, with gusts of level 8 - 9, and heavy rough seas.

    Northern Viet Nam has been in the grip of a cold snap since 29 January. Northern mountainous areas is forecast to be covered in frost at 3 degrees or below until 7 February.

    Therefore, in your next coming trip to Northern Vietnam, please prepare warm clothes and necessary items  for winter. And it is very important to train for a good physical condition before the trip so that you can enjoy the trip though cold weather.
